1) This particular harpy has sharp talons on the wings to help her climb and grip trees in place of a thumbs.

2) She has razor sharp talons on her feet, they are extremely sharp and strong. Sometimes harpys get stuck in trees by their feet because they sink their craws in too far. craws can break, but only at certain angles at the joint (it is extremely painful though so they avoid doing this unless its an absolute emergency)

3) Harpy bones are very light and strong. One of their only weak points is their thin shins and their temple on their skull.

4)  Harpys naturally have very bland colors to blend in, However high ranking harpys develop more colorful feathers over time to distinguish them from the lower ranking members of the group. Common colors the rise are reds, oranges, and yellows. Anything else is only achieved at the very top of the pecking order. 

6) Harpys have extraordinary eyesight rivaled by few, a blinded harpy wont last very long, they cannot fly, hunt or protect themselves. A blinded harpy will usually by mercy killed by another harpy upon discovery.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

I Pretty much stuck to the prompt with this one. ( the prompt was minimal but that's ok because it left me with a lot of freedom!)
